SAILESH SATPATHY BS, PT, CEAS, Cert. MDT, CMP, CIDN 

Sailesh is the founder of Auro Physical Therapy. He graduated from SRIPMS, India in Physical Therapy in 1993, prior to which he was a graduate in Physics. He was an athlete with 8 years in row winning decathlon and all around best sportsman in Pondicherry, India. He has developed passion to treat sports injuries and has specialized in treating spinal disorders. He is certified in Ergonomics, Functional capacity Evaluation, McKenzie Method, Mulligan Concept, Dry Needling and LSVT Big. He is also a certified Tai Chi Instructor and loves teaching it. He is blessed with a beautiful wife and a son. Reading, swimming and astronomy are his pass time that he enjoys in his free time. Sailesh is currently the only Mulligan Practitioner in Kalamazoo County. He is the only physical therapist in Michigan who is certified in both McKenzie Method and Mulligan Concept.

CRISITI DOGDE-JULIEN, DPT 

Cristi received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in St. Augustine, FL in the spring of 2013.  She received her undergraduate education from Spring Arbor University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Health and Exercise Science in 2009, where she also played collegiate soccer for four years.  She is very passionate about manual therapy and is eligible for certification in the fall of 2013.  She has been happily married for several years.  When not working, she enjoys spending time-serving at church, playing basketball, soccer, and just trying to stay fit; as well as watching hockey, baseball, and college football & basketball.

APRIL N PELFREY, PTA

April is a recent graduate from Kellogg Community College’s PTA program where she was accepted as their youngest member and awarded the Gold Key scholarship. She is furthering her education in hopes of obtaining a Doctorate of Physical Therapy.  She is currently enrolled as a student at Western Michigan University in their Interdisciplinary Health Science program, with a BS degree to be awarded May 2019 (3.9 GPA at WMU).  She leads an active lifestyle and is passionate about competing in CrossFit competitions and Triathlons across Michigan.

MICHAEL MAKUCH, OTR 

Mike earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Western Michigan University. He underwent additional training in medical massage and manual therapy at the Blue Heron Academy in Grand Rapids Michigan. In his 17+ years as an occupational therapist, Mike has gained experience with people across the full spectrum of the human lifespan. He has practiced in long term care, home care, acute inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, outpatient, and school settings. One of his most recent accomplishments was obtaining LSVT Big certification for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease and neurological disorders.  Mike is married and has two daughters. He strives to be a living example of his faith in God.
